I see my apps in the "Not on This iPhone" column, but don't know how to sort them by size the way I did on iTunes (useful in deciding what apps to keep on my phone). Later on I needed an account in order to do "Find My Friends", but couldn't convert everything from my e-mail address to that. That is because I started my icloud account before it needed to be in e-mail format, and had a real hard time converting it to my e-mail address. I clicked on "Purchases" (thanks, I never would have guessed to press that) and got the message: "This iTunes account is set up to use Family Sharing with a different iCloud account than ***********. I wouldn't mind them updating automatically, but only at home using my wi-fi, not using my phone minutes. I opened the app store on my iPad, and found updates on the bottom right. I don't know if the apps that used to be there are still there. I do see I still have a bunch of cryptic files at " /Users/ /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup". Today iTunes “upgraded” itself, and apparently no longer lets me use it to manage my iPhone & iPad apps.
